MSSION: A youth cultural arts exchange and retreat program designed to “promote self-discovery within various cultures, utilizing the arts and artistic expression as a teaching tool to stimulate and heighten ones sense of humanity”. This program will dedicate itself to young artisans by providing a safe haven to network, to be enlightened and inspired to fulfill their artistic passions without limitations. Our focus is “youth at risk”, but not in the traditional sense. We believe, our “YOUTH” are at risk of not fulfilling their “ARTISTIC LEGACIES”, simply because the environments in which they live do not possess all of the tools necessary to nurture and support their “QUEST” for ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE. We seek to provide an environment conducive to this need. The intent of the ACE Youth Ambassadors Program is to expose inner-city youths from United States to the rural artist communities of Nova Scotia, Canada and conversely expose youth from Nova Scotia to the urban arts communities in the United States. Our goal is to promote artistic expressions, cultural enlightenment and entertainment awareness, so that the youth can develop as leaders at the forefront of their communities representing Arts, Culture & Entertainment on a global stage as Humanitarians. The ACE Youth Ambassadors Program focus is a multi-cultural one, whose desired intent is to bring together youths from different ethnic backgrounds, to an alien environment where they learn to build social bridges, artistic collaborations and develop the concept of teamwork as a working tool to HEAL humanity.
